BITCOIN: After Facebook, Google bans cryptocurrency Ads
Well, looks like the month of May will be the last month to telecast the cryptocurrencies ad. As announced by Alphabet’s Google it would ban advertisement related to Bitcoins from the first day of June.
The new stated policy totally outcast advertisements of speculative nature products like financial betting, binary options, and cryptocurrency.
Google had taken the initiation to withdraw such kinds of ads since 2016 wherein the preceding year 2017 Google scrapped out 3.2 billion ads which violated advertisement policy.
By looking at the increasing scenario, Scott Spencer, director of Sustainable ads said, “Improving the ads experience across the web, whether that’s removing harmful ads or intrusive ads, will continue to be a top priority for us.”
Before Google declared the banning news Facebook in 2018, January had declared as well as a taken initiation to close cryptocurrencies and initial coin offerings advertisement throughout its social media ventures. The policy will not only be implemented on Facebook but also across Instagram and Audience Network.
